took off the servo,and wot a foookin big wanker you are

you where rite,the seal around the push rod is the leaker,

but in a years time the lower "bowl" would have rotted through anyway,

ordered one from ford,£120+vat,

tried everywhere to no avail,scrappys havent seen a mk4 since like "yonks" ago,motorfactors,tried,lucas,beringer and a couple of others,but all said no!,manu part .

so,im gonna split my original(coz im like that) and see if i can offer up somekind of substitute for an air seal,then weld it back up,and pressure check it,for a laff. you never Know,might start an exchange buisness,,,,,not.
