To be honest if its leaking then it'd be best to just change the servo. I had a car that it was leaking between the master cylinder and the servo, and i couldn't stop it for love nor money and it made that wheazing noise when i switched it off.

The one ive just changed had no obvious signs of leaking but a new one has made it so much better.

U can undo the master cylinder and pull it forward worry free*

Is the vacuum pressure being retained after switch off then?
