The compression struts provide a more solididity in terms of for/aft movement as well, on a road going car ie escos the ARB helps with this as well as trying to controll the roll.
I don't think I fully understand what compression strut is then. I always though oit was just a link that connected TCS to ARB mount in a way creating something like normal triangular arm like on most cars.
Dampers have nothing to do with roll control i conrners longer then very very short.
