i did this on my old fez, with the following brakes
front

rear(before they were repainted)


basically i removed the whole ABS system and all pipes,i also removed the shockingly bad rear load compensators and ran pipe straight to the calipers on the rear, i then got some copper brake line and with the car on axle stands all round offered up and shaped the lines, once i was happy with the length/shape i took them to my local motor factors and they flared the ends for me.
I changed the master cylinder and fitted mondeo brake pressure reducing valves to it,you can just see them here;

( these do the job that the compensators weren't doing,without these the back end will just lock up under braking)

it is much better without ABS
