Agree. Had 2 full suspension bikes and they're a pain in the arse unless you go for a real top notch one. Get a hardtail (fixed frame) but suspension up front. I've got 2 Kona's and swear by them, but my expensive one was a tad more than £1500. You can get a nice hardtail Kona for £1500 though.
