Easy!!!! Both timing marks are at 12 o-clock. The cam pulley as said has a little arrow/V, and a hole punched in the head at 12 o'clock, the bottom pulley has a tiny nick in it (really hard to see when they get dirty, get a white touch up stick and dab the nick so its easier to see), and the bottom section of the timing belt cover (which u should have fitted, your crazy if you don't), has the marks 0,2,4,6,8 on it, 0 being at 12 o'clock. The bottom pulley should line up with 0 when the cam marks line up.

This puts the engine to cylinder number 1 ATDC (At Top Dead Centre)

This is the same for ANY CVH engine, so yes your fiesta aswell.
