Hey guys, I have on its way to me a kit car chassis, its designed to take granada/scorpio hubs differential engine and box, but to be honest with you all i dont like the thought of using a little v6 and also have a chevy V8 waiting for a new home.

I have asked the following on a granada owners club but i dont think performance is really their cup of tea so think you lot will be able to help me more.


whats the granada diff rated too? I will be pushing a maximum of 450hp and 450lb/foot through it. will the stock granada item take that abuse or will it need replacing every track day i do? the cars 1000kg in weight which will place it under less stress but im still a little worried about its power handling.


Secondly if the diff wont take the abuse is there a cosoworth item i should be looking out for which will?
