I took my FRS to the garage due to the battery kept on running flat if only leaving it a couple of days. I had read about a couple of faults with the radio running the battery down etc so mentioned it to the ford people but they have no re-collection of this ever happening. Result? "You need a new battery sir". So after shelling out £100 for a new battery from them, less than two weeks later, I go out this morning and the battery is so flat that the alarm wont even turn off . I have phoned them back up and it is now going back into the dealer. Needless to say I have shelled out for a battery I haven't needed. Anybody any clues to what could be the fault??
