All said and done its an old design car so it will be driven with this in mind. I just like em and its built for me. If i was that worried about handling i would go get another lotus elise which could out perform this escort easily. Its just a weekend hobby at the end of the day. What i like about the rst is the amount of following its got, like passionford, owners club meets etc. Simple and basic to work on engineering. Also cheeper to run that the cossy i had b4. Some of my mates also have fords. One has a zetec xr2 and another has cabrio rst and one is soon to be building a zetec turbo escort van. These might not be race tuned 0-60 monsters, but at the end of the day they are a bit of fun to work on and drive. Chill out essexcockchops
