its hard when buying a new motor, or swapping in your case. you sort of get your heart set on it before you get there. and you do over look things and its not until you get it home, do you realise whats wrong.

i brought mine by only looking at photos, and my mates judgement. as it was quite a long way to drive just to view it. it payed £900 for mine with a engine that was blowing the oil cap off and not ticking over. me thinking it was either a blocked breather pipe, or blown rings, i said yes and sent money to my bro who brought it for me,
it wasn`t till i got it to my place and had a good look round it, i found out what it was, 2 cracked pistons but i was told the engine was standard, which it turned out not to be, so i was lucky in away, that i had good news and some bad news when i brought mine.

with yours mate, if your having all these problems and you have had enough, then strip it.
