You can buy an early GSXR 1000 for £3k (150 bhp at the wheel) and it will absolutly out accelerate any road car you put it against. You might get close with a 650bhp cossie above 130mph but you would have to had poured £30k+ into the car

Also bear in mind that a stock GSXR1000 is geared for 190mph ish red line in top. It might cost you £15 to change the gearing. Then try keeping with it between 70mph and 120mph!
