ok i just bought a second pectel monitor
this one has a different pcb inside with a conventional EPROM unlike the first one.
on power up this one reads
FORD MOTORSPORT
BOREHAM

then software version 6.60e

ok i viewed the data in the eprom, and could read all the error messages and displays in the ascii text, but could not see the startup message. why? is it encrypted, or is it not stored in the EPROM. either way i don't see why....

also i got the first monitor to log egt, fuel and oil pressure etc by playing with the dipswitches, then the DART just automatically showed the extra traces up, so i was pleased about that

also, with no sensors connected i.e. open circuit, the pressures (oil and fuel) both read 15 bar whereas the other one they are 5 bar, so does it require different sensors?
