Chip how does grinding the block the way you have done destress it and why do you feel the need to do this ?
Removes potential stress raisers.
The more important bits are the bits you dont really notice in the pics, like around where the bearing tunnel was line bored radiusing off the machined edges, some of the other stuff like taking the casting lines out the block isnt really needed, but its nice to have a smoother surface, easier to keep clean (and more pleasing to the eye
