Yup, it's with Be

I know they have had a "few" teething problems (!)... but I'm always up for being a guinae pig

I'm currently with F2S... and I would have stayed with them (as they were meant to be upgrading my exchange by the end of august), but it seems Easynet (who are handling the LLU side of things) are having problems... and when BE came up...I thought i'd jump ship...

I'm on the 2mbit service at the moment, and should have been ok for the full 8mbit with f2s/easynet llu.

My SNR is 10db and line attenuation is 19db..so I'm quite lucky that my line seems to be pretty good.

I'm about 950m from my exchange (as the crow flies), so I know it will be longer in reality (as it generally follows roads etc).. but even with a bit extra.. the chart shows I should still get some pretty good speeds.

I recieved an email from BE today, just saying they are addressing the teething problems and they are sorry for the issues people are having... and they are rolling out a new set of filters for the "be-box" for people who are having alot of noise on their line to sync at a lower, more stable speed...

I'll have to see how it goes...but for £24 a month (static ip).. i'm not complaining

The thoughts of having a theoretical 3mb/sec was all it took
