anyone been to cyprus or surrounding areas at all? I have never ever been and would like to consider going in 2007 (going to ibiza next year)

thing is i guess i have been blinkered by going to spain in different areas for so many years now.

Where would you recommend? Is property cheap out there? Is the language easy to speak? Any help appreciated
