I recently sold an item and posted it along with some other e-bay sales (seperatly but same day). I intended to send this item special delivery as it was quite expensive but I was stressed and short of time and had loads of things to do and all the parcels ended up being sent by standard parcel, with proof of postage.

Trouble is this one particular item hasnt turned up all other items sent from the same place to various locations have all turned up no bother, good feedback recieved.

The guy is now mailing me asking why it hasnt turned up but hasnt yet mentioned the fact that the sale said special delivery.

Obviously its my mistake that it didnt get posted in the advertised way, all I have is proof that I posted something on a certain day to his address.

I've been in touch with the post office and they said it would take two weeks to look into.

Just got me thinking wether this bloke has picked up on my postage mistake and is tryin to pull a fast one?

Where do I stand with e-bay/paypal regarding this? I'll be well out of pocket if I had to refund the sale. What would you do?
