Took head apart to change tappets today and got worried when I found this

Thinking I may have to get a new pair of cams, but OH no much worse was to follow





So thats twice a sweat running engine I've bought has been less than useable (<real tears)

Can anything be done with it or is it new head time

Thinking about putting the 1.8 back in again
