not being funny but re-shelling a car is not a weekend job if you do it properly!!

if you reshell a whole car over a weekend it will look a mess.
the loom issue is the big one as these looms are old, you run the risk of breaking some wires without knowing as well, an absolute bitch to sort.
my advice is go for it but take your time and dont rush and make sure you double check everything
more than possible i'd say to do it, all be it its gonna involve 2 very long days of work.
what you have to remember here is the fact that he is talking about reshelling his car with a MINT shell not stripping the car and restoring the shell then bolting all the bits back into/onto it.
