Just as a bit of an update, I now have a set of 2014 Ford Y spoke 18x8" rims fitted to my MK2 Focus with 225-40-18 tyres. Although they do physically bolt straight on there is a small issue. Because of the depth of the rim my standard studs were too short only allowing around 6 turns on the wheel nuts. I ended up fitting +20mm Wheel studs to the front with 10mm hubcentric spacers and 20mm hubcentric spacers to the rear that came wit +10mm longer studs. All good now but not a straight fit by any means. Took the oppoutunity to lower her on Eibach Springs too so she sitting pretty now
