Default VW Touran alloys

Looking at putting some wheels on the new bus to make it a bit more bearable to drive. I am pondering a nice staggered setup of 8x18" on the front and 9x18" on the rear, but information is pretty scarce on Touran's, let alone whether or not the rear arches will take a 9J rim or not.

Can anyone shed any light on the subject? Before I make what could be an expensive mistake!

I'm after some BBS CH fella, and I don't think the 9J rear is gonna be practical looking at some of the pics on there.

But how far do they stick out? I won't be going with a stretch on the tyre as the Mrs drives it during the week and that's just asking for trouble, kerbs just seem to jump out in front of her I don't want the rims sticking out further than the arches, flush would be about right for me.

well as always it depends on the offset of the wheel but with the correct offset they don't sit out far at all

Offset on the 9J rear would be et42 if that helps.
