Best all round QUIET road tires....
Hi all,
Currently my ST tdci is running Falken fk452's on the rear and Yokohama paradas on the front.
The rears are due replacement soon and I bought the yoko's on a whim. Tbh I don't like the Yoko's due to high road noise, so I'll be changing them too.
Basically I'm not looking for a cheap, rubbish set of tires as I'm a firm believer in high quality rubber.
What I'm looking for is something good all round, so well priced, good in all weathers, except snow (I have winter wheels and tires), comfortable ride and low road noise.
Comfort and noise is a big thing for me as I do 15-20000 miles a year and hate road noise! Also with the mondeo being rather firmly sprung I'll be ruling out run flats or stiff side walls (car isn't driven hard so stiff side walls aren't needed)
Talk to me people, what do you run on your daily's and why?

interesting, i have Yokohama paradas all round on mine simply because they were on the car when i bought it and i dont think they are noisy, infact i get hardly any road noise at all,
a MOT tester was telling me before how they are known for being very quiet and smooth,

I used to run 452's all round but I was due on a long journey and my local tire place only had shite or the parada's, hence me having them fitted. They're defos a lot noisier than the 452's.
They do score well for grip in both the wet and dry but the car isn't driven hard tbh.
