Airtec 100mm Top Feed Intercooler Group Buy
Ive had a long chat with Alan from Airtec at Time Attack over the weekend and managed to swing a group buy on these 100mm Top Feed intercoolers,
These coolers are working very very well in the cars ive had in our workshop and have been running the lowest on load charge temps we have ever seen!
They are made to order, so obviously we will need to place an order to see the delivery time scale, but the more people we get interested the better the price will be.
Add your name below if you are interested and i will work on some prices for you.

Ok im working on the prices for you,
We can only have 5 units. First come first serve!
This intercooler is set to go up in price very soon to Ł495.00 due to its production cost, Alan has agreed to let us have this last order at the old price so you get to save even more! but we only have 5 units!
To let you all know this intercooler is available for the Escort Coworth, BUT the car will need a front panel modification so this may put a few of you off.
For 5 people i can give 10% Discount bringing the cost to Ł355.50
The fitting kits are extra,
So first 5 to confrim will get them.

any pictures of the IC install on a saff - how much room is left?
would it be completely overkill on a maxed out T3 or perhaps at a later stage for a T34 ?
any noticable lag?

I have no pictures of one on a saff, but they fit very well, sit quite low down due to them being top feed.
would work quite well on a T34, maybe a bit of an overkill on a T3 though.

Great price.
I'll have one. Pro series with white logo, fitting kit and standard 60mm pipe size.
I hope there's enough room when running the bigger radiator with original fans...

I'll take one then bud, was hoping for 15% but if the price is going up better to get one now than later.
Will need a fitting kit too

Not sure about that, i have my cooler as far forward as they go with a few mm gap between rad/cooler and a set of pro alloy fans and mine is close, very close - the edge of the fan housing is about 3mm from the power steering pulley

Then you'll be fine, they are a very good piece of kit
I personally wouldn't bother with the scoop as i had to cut my bumper for it to fit

You just have to make room for it,
as far as i know it means cutting the front panel back, and fabricating a new front crossmember to make room. Pretty easy to do, and well worth it.

Will they make one without the air dam on the front so i don't need to cut my front bumper?

And if I want 3"/76mm pipes they are 3"/76mm all the way round and not just made bigger where the hose goes on?
If so put me down for 1

This would be for my saff, but it's packed already with turbo cooler, alloy rad etc, the turbo is a T4/Gt35 front housing as well

The turbo cooler will fit no probs i think
The intercooler is quite short. the same height as the rad.
it leaves enough room to fit a big air filter above it on ronnies car. He also runs a big rad with no cleararance issues.
It will fit a saff no probs.
