Non ford (peugeot boxer) question.
Just bought a boxer van really cheap but failed on leaf spring bushes, all 4 of them.
Going to tackle them tomorrow, well try any way. Whats the best way to do them? Can i do one at a time save taking the whole leaf spring off?
Also what do people reckon its worth? 05 plate with 114k. Very clean HDI. Full roof rack. I thought around £1000-1200.
Just needs bushes sorting and cv gator fitting.
Cheers

I did my Vw caddy by just using a long threaded bar, nuts washers and then a socket over the end of the hole, as you wind the nuts it pulls the bush in to the socket and out of the leaf. You the. Reverse on other side to put the new one in.
Should be able to undo one end at a time but do yourself a favour and soak it all in wd40 the day before to make sure the bolts all come out easy. I have seen people set fire to old bushes to get them out

Not sure on the exact setup of your van but normally when the car is jacked up the tension is off the spring

Looking at the microfiche pic it looks like you can simply jack up the van and undo the shackles
