fitting a turbo
i have a ford escort 1800 diesel van mk6 and am thinking of fitting a turbotoit. has anyone done this if so what do i need and would a mondeo turbo be bigger and fitand could i use a bigger intercooler off of another car.

It can be done I would of thought, I don't know how much work is involved though.
The early Mondeo/Focus had the exact same FI engine.
You won't be running that much boost, so I wouldn't have thought ic size is a problem, if at all.

cheers for reply martin the van is a bit gutless and needs more power i was thinking of bigger injectors and turning the the fuel pump as well but a turbo wont be that much work only pipe work and the bigger the ic the the better i ve done a bit of work on the older escorts mainly petrols so diesels are not my strong point.
