Post power steering in general :S

hi guys went out in my m8s car today and every so often his power steering was going all stiff checked the fluid and all was fine .
another friend of ours said it might need bleeding?? iv never heard of that!!
any clues??

Make sure the belt is nice and tight first, they will not suddenly need bleeding, and almost all do this perfectly on their own after a few miles anyway.
