Fuel pressure reg? Back to pre-set?
Hi i have just bought a moondust saph 4x4 and some d**k has been playing with the fuel pressure and it is over fueling really badly.
Is there anyway to restet the fuel pressure reg back to its standerd setting? Other than putting a guage in line?
Iv also been told that the previous owner had been messing with the mixture screw on the ecu. Is there anyway of putting that back to a standered setting? Or is the only way i can sort it, by puting it on a gas tester?
Thanks!

The rail pressure needs setting first, it is 100% vital to be correct, and must be done with a gauge.
The mixture screw can be reset, I think it's turn it 5 times counter clockwise, then 2 turns clockwise, but I'd check with stu/msd as not terribly sure on this point.

Ok thanks tabetha when you say to turn 4 turns anti clockwise and turn twice clock wise do i start from when the screw is turned fully clockwise? (all the way in).
Am i right in saying the fuel pressure should be 3.5 bar on tick over with the vac pipe disconected?
Thanks for your help!

Is it chipped to start with ?, if so if it is a msd chip phone them with the number and they will put you right on settings needed.
As I said I'm not 100% sure on the ecu adjust as don't use these ecu's anymore, and my ecu doesn't have a mixture screw.
Fuel pressure is indeed std at 3.5 bar idle with vac pipe off and pipe plugged, with vac pipe plugged back in it will drop to around 3 bar.
