Default engine mount problems

am putting a turbo diesel engine into a mk4 cabriolet [ex efi cvh] the engine nount bolt holes from the cvh mount are spaced too far apart to bolt to the diesel engine does anyone know of a mount with the bolt holes closer together ie almost as close as u can hold your three fingers together any help would be appreciated [rumour had it fiesta 1'6 diesel had it] lad im doing it for not very happy been trying to sort this out for weeks

would it not be easier to change the mount for one off a diesel?
surley the bay will be the same between the two, can't see ford changing it.

diesel has solid mount will tear the mk4 chassis open been there seen it done it most diesel mounts have two studs sticking upwards off the mount only want one

Can you not cut off the wrong part, make the right part and weld on to make the mount you want ?
