Post whats this ???

bought an escort rs turbo and wanted to know what this is never seen it on one before????

its on the inlet manfild pipe over the top of the engine a little blue pipe with a brass cyclinder sensor on it gos no were ???

A pic would help, but kinda sounds like the ACT sensor.
Is it on the right side of the pipe (called the charge carrier)?

Just found this pic on your profile, not sure on that one to be honest, unless it was for a guage or something, does it look like something should plug into it?

I'm sure someone else will come along and let you know...

the remnants of a water injection system?? looks like the nozzle is still in the pipe and a fitting has be used to blank it off.

it looks like a nitrous injection pipe. only there is no red pipe. :S

could be water injection but it could also of been a vacuum that led to the metering head, grove garage and ahmed did this when i had my car mapped on mfi back in the day.
