**FRST problem**
hi, just looked under my fiesta rs turbo today and found a puddle of oil under the engine on the drivers side quite close to the front. and also the water level in the header tank rises as i rev the engine? my gearbox has gone and so has my clutch but i doubt its got anything to do wiv that? the internals are fully forged so i doubt i have blown it up and its just had a new turbo?? maybe a head gasket? any other ideas?? cheers

Difficult to tell with out looking at the car, pics would be a start!
Sounds like head gasket (or could be turbo if its a water cooled one?)
Just because the engines forged does not mean you cant blow it up!
Is the header tank pressurising, is there white sludge on the oil filler cap, is there an oily film in the header tank or does the water smell of oil?
Try and trace where the oils coming exactly from, if its the turbo then you should quite easily see oil dripping from the braided oil pipe.
First thoughts tho are head gasket mate, Easy job tho, can be done in a weekend.
New gaskets, valve stem oil seals and stretch bolts should be around £100
Head pressure check and possible light skim around £50.
Get some pics up mate.

thanks alot mate. got a mate who owns a garage who sed its a head gasket but thought i wud get a second opinion. theres no oil coming from the turbo at all but it is coming from around that area. and yes the header tanks is pressurising and there doesnt seem to be any white sludge in the oil filler cap?

Get the head off asap, before anymore damage is done.
Im sure your gararge mate will do this, but id strongly recomend a head pressure test and possible skim. If the waters pressurising then the head may be a little warped or at worst have a crack!
Hopefully as said around £150 and a weekends work and you be back on the road!
