Default FITTING FOCUS RS CALIPERS AND DISCS TO A MK5 ESCORT

HELLO PEOPLE

I WANT TO FIT FOCUS RS CALIPERS AND DISCS TO MY L -reg MK5 ESCORT 1.8 16v ZETEC SI

I HAVE 17"s ON IT, IS IT A QUESTION OF DRILLING OUT THE HUBS LIKE YOU DO WITH THE ST170s AND THEY WILL FIT STRIAGHT ON OR IS THERE MORE INVOLVED??

WILL THEY EVEN FIT OVER 17"s??

You need conversion brackets from ZOO MOTORTSPORT £80 and 17inch COMPOMOTIVES to clear the calipers or 15mm hubcentric spacers.

Simalar set up on my M4 ESCORT.

Some pic of my FOCUS RS calpiers painted red.

I don't think Zoo Motorsport are trading anymore for reasons only known to Brom?

the spokes bulge out abit more than normal wheels, do you think i might get away with it??

No-one else does and their topics get noticed just as much

With regards to wheels sticking out - get the right offset, your car will handle better, tramline less and your wheel bearings will love you forever more!

Didn't stick out that far.Still was in legal limit.

As for the conversion brackets, there's some one on here that does them, think there from essex.TWINS off here uses them.

COMPOMOTIVES seem to be the only wheel that clears the FOCUS RS caliper without the need for spacers.
I was too tight to shell out £900 for a set.

Just need to fit the calipers and try the wheel on.Then measure and see what size spacer you need.

Calipers and discs are not cheap though.Got mine off E-BAY. for £200
