Yorkshire Modified Car Show Pickering Showground 9th June
Always good this show and alot going on this year, great day out for £7
massive turnout when the weather is goon which it will be tomorrow.
The Yorkshire Modified Car Show will take place this Sunday at Pickering Showground, North Yorkshire, YO18 8EA.
... Over 500 modified cars are expected to attend and will be displayed inside and outside to compete for various awards, including best paint, engine bay and interior.
The event will once again host the Yorkshire Top 25 Show Car Competition. Over 400 car owners have applied for their cars to feature in this indoor competition taking place in the showgrounds newly refurbished exhibition building. Nationally recognised judges have narrowed the entries down to the top 25 entries. These entries will then be judged over the course of the day to win the prestigious title of ‘Yorkshire Top 25 Champion’.
Main Arena events will include a timed driver challenge around a purpose built obstacle course and ‘The Crash Man Stunt Show’. The stunt show, taking place at various times throughout the day, will feature double rollovers, head on crashes and fire stunts.
The action doesn’t stop there, with DJs and MCs performing live on stage. A highlight being MC Stallion, who featured on ITVs Britains Got Talent in 2012.
There will also be an ICE (In Car Entertainment) Competition sponsored by Bass Hull situated on Anlaby Road. They will also be attending the event selling their car accessories.
A Radio Controlled Car Race Track will also feature in the showgrounds exhibition building. Individuals can bring their own cars to compete, with a final being run late afternoon to decide the champion. Radio Controlled Cars can be entered on the day.
A specialist indoor trade village, models & dancers, outdoor trade stands, licensed bar and catering outlets selling food for all tastes completes this premiership line up of attractions.
Pickering Showground is situated one mile south of Pickering, on the A169 Malton road.
Admission costs are adults £8, over 65s £7, children (under 16s) £4 and a family ticket admitting two adults and three children is £20.
Cars can enter on the day, admission costs apply
Parking is free.
Gates open at 10am.
