yep u got it mate was realy happy to find thers not one bit of rust or rot on the shell

peters500 yes the lines are were i have seam welded it will up date after the weekend with more pics got a few more bits from demon tweeks the outher day side mounts for seats and eyebolts and stress plates for harnessis when i deside what ones i wont

got a custom cages m/point weld in cage cuming at the end of the mounth aswell after seeing red16s i fell in love with it lol

the shell looks in fantastic shape im really looking forward to seeing the pics of your custom cage in the car

red 16 the side mounts were 52 quid for 2 seats from demond tweeks came the next day

engine wise not sure yet im after 300 bhp ether from a zvh or a full zetec turbo all depends on money realy would like it to hit 160mph ide be happy with that i just wont to hurt the scooby boys thay realy do my head in

no udates yet as it has bin raining today

well my cage dident turn up today as planed so im pissed off now because i was gunna spend the weekend fitting the dam thing looks like thay made a cock up some were down the line has toke 4 weeks now

the harnesis are 3 point ones but im not keeping them as im gunna get sum 3" wide black spaco 4 point ones at 99 quid each ouch

started on the cage to day and after 5 hours of trying bars in and working out witch bar goes were as sum was marked up and outhers wernt and it turns out i had to cut 35mm off the bottem of the main hoop and spred the legs out to make it fit in the right place then put in the a pillers to were i wont them and thats how far i got with it today

i dont think im doing too bad im only 20 and ive not got any traning in this kind of work im just good with my hands i fink my dad just showed me how to set the welder up and off i went if im not happy with sum thing then i do it again and again till it is right i would like to do this as a job but no one will take me on as i have no traning r well i work full time and go collage and build my car on the weekend no wonder my girlfriend has always got the arss wive me

alright red can i ask wot welder you used to weld your cage in with as the one im using is realy old and i dont think its powerfull enuff to weld it as i was trying weld it today and i couldent get a good weld on it atall think i might have to go out and bye a powerfull new one then its mine then and my dad can stop moning at me for using his kit or could any one recomend a good mig to use thanks tom
