Grey rs project>NOW ON THE ROAD* 14/05/06*
ok then fellas! After it being broken into and the doors badly damaged etc, i have decied not to break it and use all my parts for my red project series 2, but simply to get it all done. Engine has been taken out and is now at PJ motorsport and the car has now been sent to my mate in wales to be painted. To help him out i went and got sum scotchbrite pads this morning. Heres the pics of the care beforehand, taken this morning.

o.k a new update and things are going well and next week i would get 8 hour's everyday to work on it.
i hope to get all the welding done by tuesday and then get it in primmer by thursday, once the shell is done the rest will only take a short time to do.
this is the worse part of the car but it's not a problem to sort out

there is some small amount of work left on the inner wheel arch
that shouldnt take long to sort out
if you look close at this you can just about see the inner arch
that he has welded in and is just trying the outer on to see how
well it fit's
and here im just trying the outer arch on to see if it fits o.k before i go
and weld all the rest in place, this wheel arch will not be fitted like this
it will be cut down, apart from that all the hard crap has been done
looking good eh

right then lad's thing have gone wrong and me mate had to sit down and was allmost ready for rubbing it down ready to get the primmer on but the paint that has been put on it is crap who the hell painted this car in the past i would like to know.
when it's been rubbed down its like rubbing paint that hasnt had time to dry and it was leaving big lumps on the panel that he didnt know what the hell to do with it, but luck
had come his way he used thinner's on the panel's to wipe of all the shit paint that has been put on in the past it come of fine but it had taken most of the afternoon .
about 90%of it is done now and i hope that it will be in primmer for thursday if everything goes to plan and he has no more problem's with it.
this is how it looked on tuesday
last pic is how the inner arche should look by the petrol tank, where old rot was
