This is the first time I've built a car in a garage. Normally I do them on driveways, I built a 1.2 clio with a Williams clio engine on the side of the road. That made some interesting photos haha

I think a company was making them and was selling them on eBay. Not sure if they're still on there. My brother might have a set for sale though. Clear headlights you're talking about?

Yeah the headlights. I've found some on ebay but they're from france so I think they'll be wrong for the uk. I'd be interested depending on price etc

That's pretty much the same with me, only had a single garage at home the last few years and that's not big enough to work in so it still gets worked on on the driveway. Great project

Default Wiring.

I haven't got many pics of my wiring but basically I had to extend everything that's by the wipers to get the loom in neat , everything else is the same under the bonnet. Inside the car I had to change the plug for the heater controls and extend the clock wiring. Dials were pretty simple as well. Then I had to change the plugs for the rear lights but the original puma bulb holders did sortof bodge in the ka rear lights. The fuel pump wiring is the same but the sender needed a bit of rewiring

Nearly 5 years later but couldnt find a clear answer on this, and based on how quick you got the build done figured I would ask. What gearbox did you use, the puma box? or did the zetec 1.7 mate up to the 1.3 box? Looking at doing something similar myself. Cheers
