Well im official pissed off! I paid for a fuel system over 3 weeks ago now and I still haven't had it so nothing has been done on the car for over 3 weeks! And I paid for trackday 3 weeks ago for Saturday which just went so im out £94 so far and ford fair tickets with track time cost me just over £135 which soon here and still no fucking fuel system! And my missus has booked me more track time for my bday in 2 weeks! So shes gonna be pissed if shes wasted money to!

Well not much has happen!
Parts turned up Friday but missing driveshaft breather box and fuel lines to fuel filler cap, So I missed FordFair again! But I was fucked anyway as I totally forgot my car had no rad fan as I smashed mine when fitting engine, So missing parts and rad fan will be picked up today (Friday) and I should have them by Tuesday.

Got the trackday next Saturday as well so I treated my self to some camber abjustable wishbones with rose joints which im hoping will be here before next Friday.

As for the car its self I've fitted what I got and it just needs tidying up in engine bay now and wire in the fuel pump and she will be good run just need the last little extras or the cars gonna leak fuel every where.

Plans for this year now are get Gaz Gold Coil overs by xmas at lastest and pick 100% what im gonna use to power the car as im looking at k20a2 engine at min lol.

So you have you fuel system now yeh. Theres nothing worse than waiting about for parts.

There was a mk5 fiesta track car at ff. It seemed to go really well.

Yeah but still waiting on breather system for it and pipes to put fuel in tank.

yeah thay do go well, I was hoping my missus would just let me take here focus as I really didn't want to go to a ford event in a vauxhall or lexus but she wouldn't have it because she knew id take it on sliverstone because I paid for 3 track times to.

Well not happy one BIT! new replacement wishbones not here! Fuel lines I bought a while back where all leaking! beather system I bought mounting clips snapped off! driveshaft bought and bearings shot! and to top it off the one thing that I thought would be right wasn't and the fuking fan is 5cm to long! So had a right shitty day of having to replace stuff I already bought then spend 8 hours rebuilding the car and making temp mounts for fan (nobodys fault for fan) for tomorrow morning lucky I only have to drive 400m!

But at least the car runs now!

oh dear what did you break? i think you would benefit a lot from changing your style of steering luke. try 9 and 3. on llandow your right hand will never need to move from the 3 o clock position and left only when you shift.

2 spark plugs exploaded and 2 ht leads burnt out and either timming belt slipped or vvt at fault or cam snapped. which are the main ones my mate egg are look at. As were not thinking piston valve or head gasket fail as its a total loss across all cylinders.

I know I can't belive it
God knows why it happened, Wasn't like it was showing any signs of an engine ready to die

After asking round turn out there was zero nosies from engine 100% but something leaking from engine once it cut out

What the hell could have blown comp in all 4 and leak oil or water?

Could I have blown the head or block its self? unlikely just a head gasket went on all 4 of them?

Well Still havn't brought my self to look at the car yet But I have been busy looking about what im doing about engine and after looking into all local race regs 1.7 has to go and smaller 1.6 has to be fitted , 1.7 not capable or cost affective against 2.0s and a lot of them im not allowed engine that was never fitted into the car from factory so k20 idea right out the window

I've got price for everything I need for going down to 1.6 for £160 posted but id kill the engine in 5 mins due to high mileage. So I don't know weather to just bung stock 1.7 back in car and use till I race and also buy a low mileage 1.6 and kitted it up ready to go in car as I really don't want the car sat up for ages without a engine

Really don't know what to do.......

I'd bung in a tuned 1.6 (if regs allow), it'll be way better than a stock 1.7 anyway

Well that's what its gonna be going in 100% to race as 1.7 is in 2.0 class going against 400bhp cossys so wouldn't stand much of a chance lol, Im allowed to fit in any zetec-s/se engine or any endure engine but that's it as that's all ford sold them with from factory

Thing is with the 1.6 all the mods im gonna be doing need aftermarket management, So the first thing im getting is itb kit with omex ecu, So then I can just bung on each mod without any dramas But due to the cost of them and both my kids birthdays and Christmas coming up I can't save for itb kit till December and will take me 3 months to save up enough money which will put the car off the road for half a year!

Some photos (not the best) of the new stuff.... Cost less half that of what a 172 does so don't need to hear it would have been cheaper to buy a 172...

Interoir so to be in car...

Right abit of an update and f**k up!
First over a grands worth of my tools were nicked out of my trackcar out of my cuz garage which the car was locked up inside a small lock up within the garage so no f**ker should have had acess to my car but me or my cuz, So this has fooked me over for doing the car abit.
But I did go out yestard and spend £20 on some cheap ass tools just to change interior of car, So shes no rocking a full 172 interior and has 2.0 bullets on the outside fitted and already had spoiler fitted, So just need to fit wheels now and get a bodykit and its a 172 rep Soon as tool issue sorted (he'll be paying me for my tools one way or another) ill start on engine and suspension

This has fooked me right over for fixing fiesta as I was gonna order replacement engine but without tools im wasting my time, So soon I either have new tools or cash or his tools fiesta on hold
