Default Another project - 1300 Bonus

My new project, to replace my last project, which turned out to be too far gone for me to do anything with. I've known this car for the last 2 years, it was taken off the road last August when it failed the MOT, sill needs patching, along with a couple of other patches needed under the bonnet. One of the rear arches needs some attention as well, but compared to my last one, this is 100% better.

Get it on the road this year, then over the winter get the arch sorted properly, new sills to get rid of the patchwork, and ideally I'd like to get rid of the 1300 and drop something else in, not sure what yet though. I was going to go Zetec, but seems to have been done to death, nearly every Escort I've seen is Zetec powered.

Yeah but there's a reason people put the zetec engine in them, its easy and makes it a dream to drive , pretty much a bolt in conversion, stick in a zetec and deck it over some banded steels !,

Not bad that!

I would look about for a fiesta st engine and box to fit. Probably wouldnt be as easy as a zetec, but it would definitely be different and theyre getting cheaper all the time.

Perfect for a supercharger later on too

Good luck with it anyway whatever happens
