Full rs tubo engine +Kent cams kit/pullie webber twin 40's choice of car. Help!
I need help. I have a red ford escort mk4 xr3i cabriolet with a 1.6 efi engine and manual box. I also have a white mk4 1.6i mfi escort cabriolet with an auto box I want an rs turbo. So far I have the following...
Rs turbo engine reconditioned.
Turbo and manifold.
10 spare rs wheels.
Skirts and arches
2 x spoilers
Rs bumper front and rear
Morrette twin headlights
Rs turbo head with Kent cams shaft cam springs valves and vernier pully
Webber twin 40's carb
Full stainless sportex exhaust
Spare full running fiesta zetec s 1.6 engine
2 x rs turbo vented bonnets
Lots more spares
The rs turbo engine has a manual box with it so does it make sense to put it in the red manual cab? It also came with a ecu and super chip. Do I need an rs turbo loom or to modify anything and would you advice I use all or any of the performance parts I've got any help you guys can give would be respected and appreciated... So far thanks for reading

with all those nice bits stashed you'd be better off waiting till you find a really tidy rust/rot free shell and build a complete car up, get it well rust protected, then you will have something to keep long term. something like this tidy Bonus would be a good shell

in my opinion n experience i wouldnt bother doing the conversion, if u sold both motors n all your parts u wud probly av enuf doh to buy a genuine s2 rst which is fast becomin a rare car n will only gain value! n yes loom needs changein which aint a simple job

i wouldnt mind doing the loom myself if i had a wiring diagram, i remember someone telling me i needed something machined on my rs engine but i cant remember who it was or what he was on about, my white cab is an f reg and doesnt have an ecu, id like to keep that one as it is but the red one id love to put the rs engine in that, both cars are in very good condition and id love a cabriolet rst, ive had a look on ebay for rs's and they are not cheap, everything i own has probly not cost more than 2 grand in total, i wouldnt know where to start selling any of it, it must be possible to make the red cab an rs turbo and i thought this would be the forum to find out how....
