Default Cobra Repaint

I have this cobra in this week.
Ford 6.2 stroker.
The best built cobra ive seen.
No expence spared.
The car is covered in micro blisters hence
the respray.

Saw one driving through Shirley in Birmingham yesterday and the thing still gives me shivers every time I see one let alone hear one

Had to remove all the paint and primer all the way back to the gel coat because of the micro blisters.Managed to prime it on Friday.

It took ages.Time to put my feet up.
Ford imperial blue with Jaguar Old English white stripes.

Nice work!
It's a shame to see these motors blinged up so much compared to their origins though. Many owner/builders seem intent on turning them into tarts boudoirs with leather & chrome everywhere...
(Are you sure that's a Ford 6.2? It's hard to tell from the pic but the two middle exhaust headers look suspiciously close for a SBF?)

Fair enough.
I can see its not a Windsor SBF as the dizzy's at the back. The 351 Cleveland featured that, but it looks like the middle two cylinders are sitting together like the small block Chevy, that's all.

Defo a small block Chevy , my dad had a cobra replica and it was done as an old race car instead of the polished show peaces everyone else does there's too , what colour combo is this one getting?

As good as some of the kits look I have never driven one that is nice/smooth/exciting to drive, and Ive driven a few.

Good paint job from the pics though.

It must be a sbc as a ford 289 or 302 the dizzy would be at the front.

That's some fucked up clock lol looks good mate as allways,what do you charge for a full paint these days depending on wether its baremetel or just prep and paint,pm me if you would cheers
