1300 on twin 40's
Last week i let one of my sr nova's go and bought this for a bit of craic. Im only 22 so ive much to learn but i like a project and have always dreamt from i was a young boy of owning a mk2 so im over the moon to call it mine
It previously was a 4door but has been converted quite well by 2owners previous to a good standard, and most wouldnt notice only im being honest and dont see the point trying to make it out to be a 2door. As a 2door was out of my budget i bought this to start me off and to learn the car before maybe buying a proper 2 door rs in the future.
its a 1300 running on twin40s, 1/2 cage, ashley exhaust, interior is stripped with twin leather buckets and harness. Car came on the revolutions, the rest i am unsure at the minute
I have a folder full of photos & reciepts for all the parts of it when i was standard and throughout the converison and paint which i will load up here once i get them onto the computer.
Just had it a short burst in it and i love how it drives, although the brakes are quite spongey so il need to sort that out asap, unsure of what brake setup it has at the minute
Plans are:
replace the leather buckets for a proper pair
source and fit the floor carpet
remove the centre console and source & fit the original with clock&radio
source and fit the boot carpet
tidy engine bay
rewire the fuel pump to ignition as its on direct line with switch at the moment
buy & fit 2 up 2 down cibies/sims
repaint revo hyper silver or buy 13x7 superlites
tidy paint up even though it has had a respray
get it ready for mot at the start of the year/service and enjoy it
without the rear mudflaps, i have them off to make 4 new ones. Id prfer it withtout the rear mounted but as the hangers/mounted are already drilled through i may keep them for now
thanks for looking

Wheels look good to me.. Just refub them and paint the centres black..
.. and you forgot to add
'remove hidious sun strip'
to the to do list..
LOL...
looks like a good base to start from.. keep the pics coming..

I like, you can tell it was a 4 door though (the front doors should be longer), bloody nice car though.
