Default sierra hatch resto

dont expect many people to be bothered as it hasnt got an rs or st badbe but thought id put some pics up any way. brought this in april for £400 with 9 months ticket. its got some teething problems but hey its 20 years old and they can be sorted. body look battle scared but its solid and theres no rust. good base for some tidying and modding.

needs work but to me it has potential.

rear quarters are in primer at mo as paint was a bit dull and like matt effect. been bargain collecting so far have got

all 4 new shocks
new lowering springs
brembo front discs
new pads
new oil filter
oil
plugs
thermostat
waterpump gasket
piper ss sytem
new non cracked rocker cover
rs front appron (needs 2 cracks reapaired an painted)
rear spoiler ( dont know what it off as it not a xr4x4 one and is smokestone)
new 100w h4 and h3 bulbs
inside door pulls
steering wheel
gearknob
kenwood headunit and speakers

i think there is a few mor bit to go to the collection. will start putting stuff on when my hands heals up and really frustrating not being able to do any think

just need to get some rs side skirts and some amber front and rear lights

yeah i noticed every one favours the saff. my dad has a saff so thought id hunt down a project 5 door that isnt a xr4x4. was gonna get some banded steels eventually. but been offered some 16in momo with good tires for £40 so they should do for time bein just gloss black them.

just got wait for my hand to heal up and get my dad to get my spring compressors out the garage.

Nice. Looks a clean example. I had a Granada with the 2.0 in and that went round roundabout lovely sideways. Gotta be good craic in a sierra.

dont go amber, its the wrong year for amber lights and then you will have holes to weld up behind the number plate panel

hatchbacks i think always look better than safs, my old hatchback

yeah you will, be the cossie sideskirts dont look right with the rs optional kit, you would also need the rear bumper extenstion to finish the car off else it will look odd
