Ah you did right to get rid of the chains on the tail gate. Just destroy the paint the first time used.
We are getting rid of them chains on the 63 and have them air-brushed on before the clear coat.
Having looked through the thread again. That truck was in great condition.
Here's a pic of the 1963 K10 Floor. Pretty fucked.

It was in very good condition for a 65 year old truck.
Not rust at all.The only welding I done on the truck was to
a few splits on the arches and when I boxed in the chassis
and also welded the holes in the bulkhead to make it smooth.
It was just dented all round.
Your truck floor needs a bit of work but the steel is so thick
its much easier to weld.Good luck with it mate.

Read the Capri thread last night as that was the shortest of the 2 I could find. Awesome work as usual
Couple of questions for you tho, you've restored these cars,do you still own them all?
And do you do this sort of thing for a job for paying customers or just do it to your own cars?
Just curious haha

When the Lotus was unvield at Classic Ford show last year I had a guy offer me Ł60,000 and turned it down.
I don't want to sell it as ive always wanted one so would have to be a offer I couldn't refuse

I would have turned it down too. Car is stunning and holding onto it is better than savings in the bank. Anymore up dates on the latest 1? Welding must be done by now the way it's been going up until now
