Escort S2 rebuild going track car #colour change
Hi lads I have eventually decided to start work on my rst. I had it over a year running mfi power engineering cam double capacity ic and exhaust when got it. About xmas the turbo let go a bought a stage 3 turbo from Cr turbos and a radtec i/c. Since then i done 12 miles do to a electrical problem that i could not figure out. So i thought i would try deal with that problem strip it out for the summer and track it. Do abit of cosmetics and try trace and re do loom. Few problems found !!! The carpet was wet dreaded sign to give up for summer.
Rotten under battery tray and fuse box as usual

colour ideas are so far;
Daytona yellow
azure blue
frozen white
imperial blue
satin grey or matt
cossie purple
mallard green
Or a shade of metallic brown off new fords
as you can guess I want maybe go against the norm

Engine well............ Thats jury out at mo.
I would like to keep cvh for that what it came, with but a zetec/duratec be awsome. Either way forged and after market management

what i mess what am i keep telling mself it be fine. I was going to tuck wires still on mfi so could round track at ford fair did not work out

had a major problem taking the wheels off as the locking nut key just rounded off the four pins!
had to weld a nut on to get them off

charge carrier
6 point roll cage
bonnet stay
a race battery tray my bro picked up was ment for mark1 oh well
and coil bracket
would loved to do more but gave up.
colour you will have to wait an see

while i was prep up the areas we welded i thought i do drivers door as it had two big bubles of rust so used rust eater then sprayed and painted for now to protect them
