after along time away from the car iv got stuck in and made some progress, the resto thread so far is https://passionford.com/forum/restor...-rs-turbo.html




got the atlas axle in place with lsd, shortened to fit the escort



avo shocks and anti tramp bars fitted with 2" lowering blocks and panhard rod



engine and cossy t5 box all ready to be fitted





engine going in on custom chassis mounts



t5 box fitted nice in the auto tunnel with the only mod removing the very front mounts, even uses a sierra mount in the right place



engine in place



plenty of space at the front of the engine to fit everything in








turbo is fairly tight against the strut brace but it fits!








im happy so far but need to get buying some more gear to get the front rolling again

just got the petrol tank painted up in black, need to sort out a swirl pot now tho and im not fure on how to fit them?

just been modding the crossmember a bit for a bit of extra space, will post some pics when its done

iv decided the gearbox mount isnt good enough so im going to build a new one but id like to use a poly bush ideally, does any one no where i can get one?
