Default XR2i project

Hi i've recently bought a 91 Xr2i and am planning to do some sort of euro look on it, but there is a bit of rust i need to sort out before i start to modify it. Heres some pics of the car before i get to the question..

The engine has only got 81000 miles on it with the history to prove it and the interior is like its not been sat in. The bodywork is in good nick apart from some clown has keyed the drivers door and the usual rust starting to form around the filler cap and the passenger side rear arch..

So here is the question.. i've read you can get some repair panels for the arches and i've had a look on ebay and found these..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-FIESTA-MK...item27a51609b4

Are these what i need? I hope so because i want to get this sorted and crack on with wheels etc!

Any help/tips appreciated!

Will get some interior/engine pics up soon

Thanks

that looks like a really nice car mate, and im sure those panels will do,just cut off as much as you need to keep the repair to a minimum.

Nice project, yea there the panels mate. dont chop the rear quater to that shape tho as it will be too hard to blend in, chop it just above the rust keeping as much original metal as possible then trim the repair panel down to fit. good luck with it mate, im sorting out a mk2 at the maoment nice to see a mk3 getting some love!

Cheers, Dan
