Nothing written on it just black plastic single tb and doesn`t seem to suffer from the common problem of melting/cracking at the back! I`m sure it is a ford manufactured part but uses side feed injectors. If I remeber correctly where it mounts on the head the water jacket outlet is different on a 2300 scorpio to that of an rs2k that is why I would like to see a picture of an rs inlet. Hope this makes sense.

No it`s not like that one! I believe that one is made of aluminium. I think mine is a late one a `96 it looks like a late zetec escort inlet, drops down behind the engine so the inlet track is longer for more mid range and torque(apparently). It will do me for now but one day I would like bike carbs!Actually thinkin about it mine has an alloy fuel rail housing the injectors between the inlet and head similar to an rs2k.

Well guess what.......................fuck all has happened with this!
Should have my sapph cos hubs tomorrow then i can finally get my granada hubs converted to 4 stud. Once that is done i will get on with the rest of it.
Also on the lookout for a 1jz twin turbo engine for it, as i have a manual supra box in my workshop.

The supra gearbox is now sold as it wasn't up to dealing with the power of turbo engine.
As for the hubs, my 909 coilovers are 4x4 fitment, hence the granada hubs, but i still can't find the right type of hubs to convert to 4 stud. I may end up using a 4x4 setup with the driveshafts removed, but this would mean having to run power steering.
I plan to finally get the car done in the next month or so........hopefully!

Just reaquanting myself with this thread!
My mk1 escort project has been absorbing most of my time tbh.
But by the end of the month she will be rolling again. I have sold my trick suspension/beam setup, but i have enough left over to improve the standard steup.
I will take a pic of how she has been stood for the last year to give me a kick up the arse to get it done!
Also a pic of her new heart.

bit old now but i used to swop granada 4x4 5 stud centre flanges with sierra 4x4 cosworth flanges so cossie lads could run 5x112 wheels, more options that way
swopping to Scorpio front cradle and suspension is a fucking nightmare, heavier and then you have to fab one off front struts, pain in the ass, but easy for fitting S2000 engine into sierra engine bay

The plate could be for sale for the right offer so i can put my own plate on the car.
I intended to put a bmw m52b28 engine in the car, then turbo it, i even have a 328i coupe outside next to the sierra! But i got a good offer on it from the guy who bought my fiesta, so she is staying pinto powered for now. Had my struts delivered yesterday so she will be up and running within the next couple of weeks.
