thought alot of you guy will no what need to lol anyway

i want a project car idealy a mk3 fiesta xr2i and want big power but dont no really where to go

i currently drive a focus st 225 but dont want to ruin it

how much will a conversion cost? would do most technical stuff myself

which engine is best eg zetec 2.0 mondeo and which turbos n ecu's etc

any ideas will be great

c'mon guys

ano a few hundered quid for the car. going to strip it down to bare bones, respray ful shell and but together with bigger brakes better suspension striped it out and bigger engine want to run a safe 220-250 bhp so wot engine would be suitable for this and ruffley how much these engine come in at

get a foucs rs engine , or build one theres loads of places about that sell pistons for the 2.0ltr zetec silver and black top, turbo t3 or t34 ? frount mount cooler , fiesta si wiring loom or fiesta turbo depends on ecu , can use fiesta turbo ofab or use mega squirt something along them lines, escort turbo gear box with lsd , if you really wanna play try a st170 box but ur need fab work to get it in, and custom drive sharfts list is sorta endless all depends on what you would like to spend lol

cheers mate been lookin through a lot of built projects now am undicisive on witch model lol u think a good fast road car could be done for 2-3 grand top on sourcing parts and a shell labour will be done by mysself and my fellow ford mechanic freind lol

umm yes it could be but i started one on mine on a budget of about 2k and that was a n/a , ended up near that on coilovers big brakes polly bushes and tyers lol
