Default RS1600iT Sitech track car. Updated pic

So almost there!

Here are a few pics of my almost finished RS1600iT track car.

Engine in,
Gearbox in,
Suspension on,
Wheels on,
Paint on,

Need to finish wiring, indicators, brake lines, mapping, geometry.

Plenty of more info to follow.

Simon Smail.

Here is my favorite bit,

old school Revolution RFX (nice but very heavy)

Here is a 044 Bosch and swirl pot.

Floor mounted pedal box.

A very nice flocked dash, done by Raj at Autoflock Motorsport

And a 2.0l ZVH

Simon.

Looks the nutts

But why the big wheels and square arches?

Have you dropped the floor pan to facilitate the floor mounted pedal box?

The wheels are 16inch.

The arch is just what fitted.

The floor is just the same, I have moved the seat as far back as poss, so you now sit on the floor with your legs streatched out in front of you. I am 5ft 8, feels right to me!! Cant see much though?

Interesting Gary! I have used high pressure fuel injection hose from my motor factor. I does not smell at all. I have also done plenty of customer cars in it to.
If you want to be flash you can use Krontec stuff, its 8mm or 10mm ali tube and get dash fitting for the ends. It works out as a mid price option.

lol very tempted to try the same sort of peddal box in mine (MK6 escort) but not sure how itd sit, you putting a false floor over it I guess? to rest your heals?

also liking your choice in fule lines, I want to run black fuel lines and oil lines from dry sump in rubber as not keen on braided stuff.

it dont bother me that much tbh once driving you dont notice it, its just if its left for a day or so you get a wiff when you open the door i ve learned to accept its just the hose used i was contemplting running the pipes back under neath the car and using 10mm copper pipe that only leaves a small amount of pipe in the boot area then
