Default COSSIE OWNERS - a quicky please..lol

hi ,

Just a quick question , a nice cossy has come up for grabs but its gots 140000 + on the clock, standard as far as i can tell and not ragged to death.,

In general, are the YBs good for that kind of milage or do things start going wrong which could lead to hefty bills?

Cheers

on the early ones they needed a head gasket after 15k

no cossy has 'not been ragged'

and if your not sure about these very basic questions is it worth reconsidering your choice of car.

Well you can't really tell. Mine has done 165000 Km without a rebuild and I don't have any real problems except a little oil leak.

My brothers one had done 180000 I believe and his block died last year, a melted pistion due to a injector fail.

So true!!

To be completly honest i would not worry about the milage very much if it was a good car.

Dont expect to convert it straight to stage 3 and last forever though
