Default SportKa zetec?

Hi all,

I have a 1.6 sportka (Durateq) All standard as it came out of the factory really, but was thinking after a track session at donnington that I need a bit more power (OK in the corners just get beat in the straights) heard that maybe a zetec 2.0 lump would fit in, this true?

PS Virbarting Cake is my bro with the 2.0 zetec capri reckons it will drop striaght in!

They will go in, it's relatively straight-forward.. i'd get over to myka.org where you will find lots of info on the conversion.. you need a new engine mount, engine, ecu, wiring etc.

you need to drill out the front hub holes to take the brake caliper bolts i think they are 12mm but they dont need to go out a lot . the rears i swapped the whole hubs and brake set up from a focus you have to move the brake flexi hose to fixed pipe bracket over a bit otherwise the pipe is tight. i used a st fiesta handbrake cable
