looks like it needs some tlc with the welder these days you dont find many people that would take jobs on like that.

Default update on my restoration 17/03/09

not much more done as my mates welder broke, and ive broke my hand, ive now taken the roof lining off, removed the rear drums, and the front calipers, also removed the wheels, but 2 of them are fooked, the other 2 are fine, also bought a few bits along the way,new carpet, roof lining, spark plugs,ht leads, oil filter, boost hose, and some marangoni zetas.hopefully going to start welding next week,

A bit of progress made, painted the wheels gloss black, and put the marangonis on,painted the hubs and calipers,my mate Andy Speck has started work on the floor pan, hopefully it will be in for the m.o.t next week, then a service, then off for it setting up on the rollers, and with a bit of luck and all things well off to York in April.

great news today got the car passed at the m.o.t,not with out its troubles though, went to Andys (specky) last nite at 7.30pm to finish off the last bits ready for this morning and we hit a major problem,at about 9.00pm we were bleeding the brakes and nothing was happening, master cylinder was fooked, the only one at our disposale was a non abs master cylinder,so Andy went on a made one and took the abs off and re-plumbed the brake lines, eventually finishing at 2.00am this morning ready for the test, hes done a fantastic job and now the cars home, ready for me to put the interor back in,ill post some pics up later when ive had a decent nites kip lol.

cheers for that guys, and yes for some reason i think your write, the chrome does not look right now,i think its since the wheels are now black may have something to do with it,my only concern is if i try to remove them will it damage the paint work.
